- Managing the control room shift to ensure proper resource management and efficient operation of the unit.- Managing and monitoring daily production and resource consumption reports of the power plant as well as tracking records of ongoing and executed maintenance projects and aligning project deliverables with project scope according to stakeholders' expectations.- Communicating, facilitating, and managing business needs of high-interest stakeholders i.e., CPPA-G, NPCC, NEPRA, PPDB as per the project requirement. Planning and scheduling annual maintenance, performance, and efficiency tests with CPPA-G and NPCC as per monthly predicted load curves. - Complying with demands of direct stakeholders (R&D, Planning, Commercial departments) for enhanced team performance, stabilized unit parameters, and efficient execution of technical tasks. - Daily correspondence with NPCC in terms of daily and expected power production.- Supervising efficient and safe operations under prescribed parameters, ensuring that allapplicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements are met.- Responsible for Hot startup, warm startup, cold startups, MFT, RB andshutdowns of the unit.- Managing all Permit to Work system-related activities in the Power plant.- Maintaining daily shift log and preparing Daily Energy reports, DAC, Daily Dispatch documents, PPIB reports, and monthly activities analysis document.- Supervising technical and safety training drills of project team based on business and employee needs, to improve operational knowledge.- Working as Safety manager to implement all necessary environmental, health, and safetymeasures for safe operation and maintenance activities at the power plant as per GB standards.

- Project team lead for pre-COD testing procedures performed in coordination with CPPA-G, NPCC, and NTDC as per Article VIII, Section 8.3 of PPA. Tests performed for commercial operation of 2x660 MW power units were:*Turbine Overspeed test*Heat rate test *Initial capacity test *Load rejection test *AVR test*Reactive capability test*Turbine MSV, RSV, and governor valve testing - Monitor 660 MW units for efficient and safe operations per defined limits.- Monitoring, supervising, and controlling work permits and contact sheets for preventive and forced maintenance activities while limiting time and quality constraints for critical operations.- Implement and execute Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) system in accordance with the companyregulations.- Planning and scheduling daily operation tasks, shift schedules for site operations, and DCS monitoring and ensuring project team compliance according to to set deadlines.- Training in charge of weekly and monthly technical training activities of the project team and directing stakeholders for skill alignment according to the project requirements.

- Handling technical aspects as a team lead in collaboration with government regulatory authorities (NPCC, NTDC) for back energization of 500KV grid.- Project team member in the commercial department for finalizing Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Operating Procedures (OPs) in alliance with CPPA-G, NPCC, and PPDB.- Assisted Xi’an Thermal Power Research Institute Co., Ltd. (TPRI) in detecting system faults during the pre-commissioning phase and suggested system improvements for its better optimization.

Received initial training in coal-fired power plant from UET Lahore in which theoretical aspects of supercritical boiler working, electrical transmission & distribution procedures with different protection schemes, and steam turbines were covered. Acquired comprehensive practical training in the 660 MW supercritical power plant field from Shanghai Shudonku Power plant along with simulation exercises.Trained under the guidance of manufacturers of power plants like Shanghai electric works, and Harbin Boiler Company Limited.

Understanding of Operation and Maintenance of 200 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant under Wärtsilä
