Assistant Shift In-Charge Engineer - Operations
Current- Managing the control room shift to ensure proper resource management and efficient operation of the unit.- Managing and monitoring daily production and resource consumption reports of the power plant as well as tracking records of ongoing and executed maintenance projects and aligning project deliverables with project scope according to stakeholders' expectations.- Communicating, facilitating, and managing business needs of high-interest stakeholders i.e., CPPA-G, NPCC, NEPRA, PPDB as per the project requirement. Planning and scheduling annual maintenance, performance, and efficiency tests with CPPA-G and NPCC as per monthly predicted load curves. - Complying with demands of direct stakeholders (R&D, Planning, Commercial departments) for enhanced team performance, stabilized unit parameters, and efficient execution of technical tasks. - Daily correspondence with NPCC in terms of daily and expected power production.- Supervising efficient and safe operations under prescribed parameters, ensuring that allapplicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements are met.- Responsible for Hot startup, warm startup, cold startups, MFT, RB andshutdowns of the unit.- Managing all Permit to Work system-related activities in the Power plant.- Maintaining daily shift log and preparing Daily Energy reports, DAC, Daily Dispatch documents, PPIB reports, and monthly activities analysis document.- Supervising technical and safety training drills of project team based on business and employee needs, to improve operational knowledge.- Working as Safety manager to implement all necessary environmental, health, and safetymeasures for safe operation and maintenance activities at the power plant as per GB standards.
