I am working as an associate professor in the College of Pharmacy at Al Ain University. I have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Alberta and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Islamia University of Bahawalpur. I have 17 years of research and teaching experience in the field of dosage form development, especially nanomedicines and their interactions with the biological system for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases. My research interests include the synthesis and in vitro and in vivo characterization of nanoparticles, targeted drug delivery of nanoparticles and their effects on biological models, and the development of co-culture models for cancer cells and macrophages. I also have experience in developing and analyzing PBPK models using simulation software to predict the PK of modern formulations and delivery systems.
