Managing the Accounting and Finance department of the company and its four subsidiary companies.Working on different Investment Projects, Mergers/Business acquisitions and sale of Assets/Businesses.Working on new Startup and Business development projects, Making feasibility reports and taking care of all the Legal Compliance issues with the regulatory bodies like Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Federal Board of Revenue.Taking care of Annual Audits, Tax and legal compliance matters of whole group of companies.Implementation of new Accounting software and New SOP development for the Finance department.

Key responsibilities performed:Evaluated compliance to the Companies Act and various legislative laws applicable to respective clients; ensured adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards, International Standards on Auditing and Audit Practice Manual (APM) by ICAP.Managing assurance assignments, preparing working papers and deliverables for Manager/Partner review.Monitoring the complete planning and management activities for ensuring completion of various types of audits within the time & cost parameters.Conducting verification of books of accounts to detect any possible fraud and ensuring that accounts prepared are both reliable & prepared in accordance with IFRS.Overseeing and review responsibilities of staff on engagements.Analyzed variance to budget/forecast and prepared reports explaining budgets deviations,Ensuring adequacy of legislative and regulatory compliance both in terms of operational and financial matters.Analysis and review of financial and non-financial information for reasonableness of strategy, amounts & disclosures to be presented.Evaluating internal control systems / procedures, preparing audit reports with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.

Ensure proper books of accounts were maintained as per Company's SOPs.Prepare and post daily accounting entries.
