In my role as a part of the project management consultancy team, I was responsible for ensuring that all electrical site inspections were carried out as per the approved shop drawings, method statement, quality control procedures, and inspection and test plan. Additionally, I closely monitored site activities to ensure that the work was in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practices, and that only approved materials were used.I was also responsible for making sure that all materials used complied with the approved Material Approval Request (MAR) and that the latest edition of the approved shop drawings, method statement, quality control procedures, and inspection and test plan were used. Furthermore, I ensured that any non-conformity was reported through a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Site Observation Report (SOR) reviewed by my line supervisor.I took pride in advising the Planning Engineer and Construction Manager of any slippage of progress regarding site activities and reviewed the relevant As-Built drawings as submitted by the Contractor, ensuring that all site conditions were properly addressed.
