Current• Procurement Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/subcontractors based on price, quality, availability, and reliability. Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms and pricing. Coordinate procurement activities including sourcing, obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking delivery schedules.• Contract and Supplier Management: Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, and resolving disputes. Collaborate with inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.• Market Awareness and Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and new technologies relevant to procurement needs. Analyse procurement data to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making by senior management.• Administrative Oversight: Oversee administrative staff, delegating tasks, scheduling, and managing performance. Manage flow of administrative tasks, prioritize assignments, and ensure deadlines are met. Allocate resources such as office supplies, equipment, and workspace to support administrative functions. Implement and enforce organizational policies and procedures related to administrative tasks. Address issues and resolve conflicts within the administrative team or in executing administrative tasks. Assist in budget planning and monitor expenses related to administrative functions. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing administrative activities.
