Being part of Promiad's content creation team, I have written articles on a variety of medical and personal development topics.

As an elective student, I actively participated in a variety of clinical settings, gaining hands-on experience and deepening my understanding of patient care. My responsibilities included:-Participating in outpatient department (OPD) consultations and ward rounds.-Taking patient histories and performing thorough clinical examinations.-Interpreting diagnostic investigations and contributing to management plans.-Observing both open and laparoscopic surgical procedures, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic splenectomy, open splenectomy, modified radical mastectomy, inguinal hernia mesh repair etc.-Gaining exposure to bariatric surgical procedures, such as sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass.-Participating in pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups to ensure comprehensive patient care.-Following up with bariatric patients to monitor their post-operative progress and ensure optimal outcomes. This elective experience allowed me to develop critical clinical skills and provided a comprehensive understanding of both routine and complex surgical procedures.
