Working as s Senior Structural Engineer in ECSP (Pvt.) Ltd on projects like Multan Sukkur Motorway Bridges and culverts design evaluation, structural design of infrastructural and buildings in Quaid-e-Azam Apparal Park, retrofitting measures for multi storey brick masonry apartment structures in Faisalabad.

Worked as a Senior Structural Engineer at Neelum Jhelum Consultants {a JV of MWH (US), NORPLAN (Norway), NESPAK (Pak), ACE (Pak) and NDC (Pak)} on behalf of National Development Consultants (ndcpak.com). Neelum Jhelum Consultants are working on overall design of 969 MW 4.0 billion dollars Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric Project.My basic tasks in this job is the design of RC tunnel linings, steel tunnel linings, underground powerhouse framing and related components, dams and retaining structures, debris channels, hydraulic retaining walls, sedimentation basin, steel penstock (covered and on surface), reinforced concrete manifolds, outlet structures according to latest applicable material, structure and hydraulic codes and guidelines. For structural analyses, software like SAP2000, ETABS,MIDAS Set, developed MS Excel working sheets, MATHCAD were used.In addition to structural analysis of above mentioned structures, my responsibilities included Geotechnical engineering analysis and design of massive slope stabilitiy, underground tunnel system lining and seepage analysis, time history analysis of slopes etc.In addition, practical problem solving tasks at this project included analysis of tunnel floor heaving and devising remedial measures, Powerhouse pillar bulging analysis and its remedial measures, shallow hydraulic tunnels seepage analysis and devising remedial measures for it. For Geotech analyses,I have used software like RocScience Phase 2, Slide, Geostudio software, Plaxis2D etc.I have also supervised and witnessed Lab testing for the quality assurance of waterstops according to applicable ASTM standards.In addition, technical reports and memorandum of all tasks mentioned above were also written by me which were reviewed by international Panel of Experts.

Structural Designing, Teaching

Worked with a team as a design engineer on projects various frame structure facilities at Multan Airport, Pakistan, confined masonry structure design in Muzaffarabad AJ&K,Pakistan, multistorey overhead water tank seismic analysis and design in most severe seismic zone 4 as per zoning map of Pakistan located in the city of Muzaffarabad, AJ&K.

Worked as Structural Engineer at Design Cell, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan from 15/07/2006 till 01/03/2010. Worked on the Earthquake resistant design of 5 storey RC building in zone 2B, Earthquake resistant design of 2 storey RC building in zone 3, Vetting of structural design of 8500 sq. ft. 3 storey building, Retrofitting of damaged hospital in earthquake zone 3, Retrofitting of facilities like schools, hospitals police stations at AJ&K Pakistan, Facilitating the timber, RCC and confined masonry catalogues and posters for the reconstruction of the same in the earthquake areas
