• To perform a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analysis of gas, hydrocarbon, chemicals, water and various other substances, in accordance with established testing methods and instructions.• To obtain process and utility unit samples in conformance with Company, HSE and International Standards and practices.• To analyze, compute and record sample test data and results, using computer controlled laboratory apparatus and instruments in conjunction with the integrated LIMS automatic data transfer system.• To receive sample list and enters the test analytical results using the computerized Laboratory Information System (LIMS) and Business Object reporting software.• To comply with all relevant Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) regulations, in the performance of all activities.• To report any instrument operating faults and apparatus damage to the immediate shift supervisor / Chemist.• To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as policies and procedures.• To prepare and standardize chemical reagents used in laboratory tests and on-line analyzers.

Currently, I am working as petroleum chemist with Intertek which is providing services to industry in 1,000 locations in over 100 countries. I have experience on complete testing of mogas, avgas, jet fuel, gasoil and fuel oil according to ASTM and IP standards.Responsibilities include but not limited to:  Preventive maintenance; Run the smooth operation of lab; Supervising Staff  LIMS Reporting Standard and reagents preparation; Assisting QA/HSE Representative;  Maintaining records/documentation according to ISO 9001:2001 & ISO 14001; and Reporting.

I worked in Descon Oxychem Limited as shift chemist and was involved in Commissioning of lab, method development and installation of lab equipments.Responsibilities include:  Performing analytical chemistry assays based on new and existing methodologies;  Operating analytical instrumentation such as, GC, Karl Fishier Titrator, TOC, UV/Vis Spectrophotometer; Developing, establishing, and validating analytical testing methodology used to control raw materials,production intermediates, and final products;  Writing technical reports to document analytical methods and transferring documented analytical methods to the QC department; and Set up new or existing analytical methods for identifying products, performed environment hazards testing, coordinated off-site testing as necessary and conducted testing of analytical samples for the Technical Department.
