- To provide day-to-day technical support to maintain the melt-phase polycarbonate plant and meet production target, optimizing plant performance to track key yield parameters to ensure smooth & efficient function of plant while maintaining quality & safety standards. - Process Safety coordinator of the Polycarbonate plant - tracking control of Risk Discovery & Management, alarms rationalization, HAZOP & LOPA studies of the plant, SIL verification, managing Pre-Incident Planning & Emergency Response Planning for fire scenarios. - Conducting Risk Assessments for operations involving risks and suggesting interim & mitigation actions.- Implementing cost reduction & sustainability initiatives while maintaining high quality standards to control energy, GHG, water and material intensity values.- Plant representative in RCA (root cause analysis) study - SAP production & utilities consumption closing on monthly basis- Providing support for Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies such as HAZOP, LOPA.- Ensuring all MOCs are in compliance with PSM requirement.- Development of unit metrics, KPI’s, and standards for unit operation.- Liaison with the operations teams, licensors, process & process control, maintenance, reliability, Business planning, and EHSS to maximize unit on stream factor (OSF), execute the Operating Plan, and meet/exceed the production budget.- Leading process studies to identify debottlenecks and profit opportunities in coordination with licensing and technical support groups.- Responsible for the chemical, catalyst, and additives management process, creating annual consumption projections, updating BOMs, tracking consumption trends, and outlining delivery schedules to maintain minimum inventories.
