Working as a Senior Merchandiser handling customers mainly of terry towels. Basic job is :- Manage different accounts with respect to communication – pricing – sampling etc. - Handling different customers based in Europe (including UK), South Africa and Russia etc.,- Main product line is Terry towel and terry product, but also have worked out for bedding for the my towel customers- Follow up and negotiation for prices with different vendors and get the best possible options for customer.- Development of sample as per specs defined by customers.- Development of different occasional promotional products for customers for marketing.- Development of accessories in coordination with factories and get them approved.- Plan out production plan with factories in respect of weaving – dyeing and shipment.- Working in a team work environment with one QA technologist and team of Quality inspectors.- Follow up of order with factories from pre-production sampling to packaging developments to gold seal sampling and shipments.- Liaise with customers and factories for any inquiries or any issue may arise time to time with respect of shipments.- To follow up post shipment phases. - Complete follow up of order from Greigh procurement till shipment.- Getting developments of Packaging for customer approval- Follow up Strike offs / labdips from processing dept. for approval and then delegating it back to processing.- Production planning from weaving till packing then onwards shipment.- Communicate independently with customers in shipment related matters
