During internship, I mainly focus on the Machinery Maintenance in the 1st three weeks of my internship where I have dealt with the following rotary and reciprocating machines:1. PD compressors (Mainly Reciprocating Compressors)2. Centrifugal Pumps 3. Bearings of these machines 4. Sealings 5. A case study of a critical machine which is "Centrifugal pump P-108". This case study mainly focuses on the history, specifications, working and construction of this pump".Furthermore, during the next phase, in equipment maintenance section I have experienced the following static equipment:1. Heat Exchangers designed on T.E.M.A standard.2. Valves and its types like gate, globe plug and check valves etc.3. Materials used in Fertilizer Plants.My internship also involves adhering to safety protocols, learning to navigate the stringent safety and environmental standards that FFC upholds. By working closely with my mentors and participating in team meetings, I gain invaluable insights into project management, technical problem-solving, and the application of theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. This hands-on experience at FFC not only enhances my technical skills but also prepares me for a successful career in the engineering field.
