I was taught the complete company process from cement manufacturing to logistics and finances.At the time of my joining, our team's monthly average of volume sold was approximately 10,000 metric tons. However, through our efforts we were able to grow figure this by over 100% over the next two financial years to an average 20,000 metric tons per month. My role in this success was through induction of new dealers into the department's ecosystem, thus supplementing our network.I was also assigned my own sectors for daily tours and visits. Through this work in the field I was able to closely monitor changes in the retail market on a day-to-day basis. I would then produce reports for my Head of Department (HOD) using this information so that we could coordinate and develop both short-term and long-term marketing strategies.
