The main responsibilities include coordinating among all the departments of Government of Sindh on behalf of Chief Secretary, arranging meetings, keeping a follow-up on the decisions taken in various meetings, discussing important matters with the Chief Secretary after getting a feedback from all the concerned quarters, etc. In addition to these, I'm tasked with preparing brief explanatory notes for the chief secretary after reading all the summaries for the chief minister initiated by various departments, Notes for Chief Secretary Sindh, and all the service related matters governing human resource management. This unique experience has enabled me to enrich my knowledge of almost everything about governance and public administration. Moreover, in order to keep the chief secretary updated about the functioning of various departments and the issues being faced by general public, I carry out candid inquiries and make reports to be presented to him later. Collecting various types of data and information from district and divisional administrations and getting them consolidated in report format is yet another main responsibility I have to perform.
