Fresh Graduate at Republic Polytechnic's School of Hospitality, Diploma in Customer Experience Management with Business under the Customer Experience track. In my time as a student at Republic Polytechnic, I was the Student Liaison in Diploma Events Head of this diploma, where I reached out to industry partners and planned events and talks for students in my diploma for industry exposure and connections. As part of my 24-week internship, I pursued an overseas internship to work as a Front Office Guest Services Attendant at CityLife Wellington, New Zealand, where I assist and provide guests with prompt service in many areas possible (room service, checking guests in and out, handling guests’ properties such as cars and luggage etc. I also provide guests with exceptional customer service for a pleasant stay and experience and attend to any guests’ queries or needs. It has been a phenomenal experience and I believe this experience and skill sets I have gained from this overseas internship will be valuable for my future career pathway in any industry I pursue. In my free time, I love to listen to music and spend time with my friends and family. I also like to participate in and organise events. One such event would be a collaboration with Archery Interest Group and my School of Hospitality Club Interest Group where I assisted in providing the student body with knowledge about Archery as a sport and allowing them to try the sport for themselves. Overall, it was a fun experience and I am thankful to be given opportunities to organise and participate in various events through the School of Hospitality Club. At the end of the day, I hope to make full use of the time given and be the best version of myself by experiencing new things.
