As a business development associate at one of the leading tech-startups of the country, I was part of dynamic team whose mission was to digitalize the road-freight systems of Pakistan. My core responsibilities included :- managed the existing portfolio of clients by identifying and catering to their changing logistical needs which included logistics invoicing, transportation arrangement of shipments, facilitation in POD collection;- scaling up the GMV through by prospecting and onboarding potential clients;- spearheaded multiple presentations to prospective clients;- collaborated with product development team to facilitate them in improving the product according to local logistical market;- drive go-to market strategies of north region;- review and vet logistics contract to acquire new bids for the business;- Accurate revenue forecasting through the deal sales cycle, and competitive landscape analysis;- kept a daily log of sales opportunities by managing the sales pipelines on HubSpot;

After being promoted, I was put in charge of trucking and rail operations of Pakistan Intermodal Company Ltd. (one of the Marine Group Company). My core responsibilities included vendor management, quarterly and yearly reporting & contract logistics. I was responsible for over-hauling the existing operational structure by replacing the Trip-Based Model by Fixed and Variable Transportation model which resulted in :- improved stakeholder relations by reducing their payment cycles;- increased last mile delivery capacity by 50% in order to entertain incremental flow of Up-Country rail cargo;- efficient time & resource management by eliminating day to day outsourcing of vehicles;- entertained perishable goods FCL (exports) by initiating a reefer train operations due to enhanced first mile deliveries on Down-country rail movement.

As an Operations Executive, I led a team of three people at MICT Pvt .ltd (A private Dry Port located in Lahore) where I managed company owned cargo fleet and Port machinery to ensure seamless last mile deliveries - containerized cargo - in order to generate maximum profitability. Some of my accomplishments include :- Increased profitability of company owned fleet by 20% in the first quarter- Recommended and oversaw the expansion of company owned fleet by analyzing the market needs related to domestic movements- Introduced the concepts of routinely maintenance of vehicle to reduce operational costs - Identified and implemented an opportunity to reduce the turn over rate of drivers by changing the daily wage structure to contractual wage- Eliminated late FCL deliveries through outsourcing a tracking company
