Worked in SYSTRA Riyadh Metro Transit Consultant (RMTC). As a Civil Engineer I was acting with maximum supervision and performing all aspects of field engineering assignments including development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems for the designated area of Riyadh Metro project. I was also responsible for reviewing the performance of subcontractors to assure contract compliance, the application of accepted construction technology and standards, and the acceptable standardization of materials and supplies involved with the infrastructure associated with the train system, e.g. Deep underground stations, grade corridors, bridges, tunnels ancillary buildings and parking facilities.Main Responsibilities:•Performing difficult and very complex field engineering assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects the Riyadh Metro project.•Maintaining first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards. •Supervising the construction engineering work and providing technical expertise for different construction engineering disciplines, as well as Surveying Engineers. •Supervising Construction Inspectors, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures. •Monitoring and coordinating all contractors' activities for the assigned area. •Collaborating with the seniors to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees. •Ensuring that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards. • Reviewing and interpreting discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.

Jinnah Barrage

Worked as a senior engineer at different earthen and concrete dams and previously at rehabilitation and modernization of Jinnah barrage, i was responsible for the supervision works of the dams, spillways and the irrigation channels (concrete and MS pipelines), structure of barrage including Main Weir, Undersluices, guide walls, fish ladders, divide walls and also the supervisions of buildings works in the Barrage colony including Schools, Basic Health Unit, Over head water tank etc. I was also responsible of carrying out meetings with Client and Contractor regarding different design issues and other matters regarding the progress of works. I also gave presentations to the officers of World Bank (the funders of the project) during their time to time visit of the site.Responsibilities:•Exchange of correspondence with the Contractor on contractual / progress monitoring issues.•Evaluation of tender documents.•To manage / supervise the work of claims, Contracts, Rates, Variation Orders, Planning / Scheduling and Measurement sections.•To review Contractor’s construction programme and its periodic updates.•To monitor work progress for timely completion of projects and anticipate bottlenecks (if any).
