RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in the Preventive Maintenance of Turbo-Compressor Units (GE Frame-III Gas Turbines & DEMAG Multi-stage Centrifugal Compressors), THERMODYN Multi-stage Centrifugal Compressors, Turbo-Generator Units (GE Frame-I Gas Turbines), WAUKESHA Gas Engines, CAMERON Reciprocating Compressors, WORTHINGTON Reciprocating Compressors. Prepare schedule maintenance planning charts and ensure the availability of spares and accessories prior to the job commencement. Plan to execute/attend daily corrective maintenance jobs on the basis of priority/criticality. Provide assistance in the analysis of technical problems, propose solutions and monitor / manage implementation of corrective actions for Gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, pumps, gearboxes, fans etc. Update the status of generated Maintenance Work Orders (MWOs) in SAP on daily basis. Prepare technical reports of scheduled maintenance jobs & assigned projects. Effectively utilize the predictive maintenance tools as part of the condition monitoring activities. Prepare scope of work for the contractor services / maintenance jobs on installed stationary equipment and ensure conformance to specified safety and quality standards. Responsible for the inventory management, schedule holding (ROL & ROQ) proposals for optimum inventory levels, conduction of Technical Evaluations (TEs) and inspections upon receipt of the material. Provide assistance to the seniors in the preparation of annual REVEX (Revenue Expenditure) & CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) budget. Responsible for the preparations of departmental level documents and updating of records and ensure compliance of the QMS & HMS standard procedures.

Worked as Trainee Engineer Mechanical in Maintenance department at Gul Ahmed Energy Limited, where I participated in preventive maintenance of Wartsila 18V46 HFO driven Engine. GAEL is operated and maintained by M/s Wartsila Pakistan. It’s an IPP having power generation of 136MW with KESC being its power purchaser.
