• Schedules, Implements, Conducts, Reports and keeps follow up of Provisional Acceptance Testing (PAT) of Switching, Transmission and IT etc. offered by Technical wing in Karachi.• Plans, Implements, Conducts, Reports and keeps follow up of Technical Audit/Evaluation of all Network Elements of PTCL Network aimed at assessing Quality of Service of each Network Element.• Plans, Implements, Conducts and Reports OSS (One Stop Shop) Mystery Shopping. • Conducts on site Factory Material Testing and Inspection of copper and optical fiber cables procured by HQ.• Ensures Every addition in each existing network element or entirely new system is tested in accordance with the approved PAT documents and prescribed procedures• Prepares Check lists and works for their continual improvement for use in Technical Audit through Preventive Maintenance and Routine Inspection of different Network Elements of PTCL network. • Manages all Administrative, HR and Financial matters of staff and offices of Quality Assurance Region South.• Prepares Quality Managements Reports and under performance management of reporting employees.

• Implementation of effective O & M procedure for rectification of hardware, software and media faults.• System Administration for optimum system performance that is Software Up gradation and implementation of patches for software bugs, Hardware up gradation and expansion.• Assurance for preventative and corrective maintenance of Air Cons, power plant and allied accessories.• Assurance of accurate recording and back up of Charging Data (CDR) at various levels in the switching system.• Assurance for reliable and accurate on line backup of CDR files to post processing Center (BNCC Islamabad).• Ensure accurate implementation of National and International Routing Plan timely.• Ensure of updating of International and National Numbering Plans.• Analysis of Call Failure Reasons and events on each and every route of national and international side for highlighting of factors effecting ASR (Answer to Seizure Ratio).• Study of Traffic Dispersion per destination results for highlighting Hard to reach destinations and implementation of network management functions for reducing CFR.• Presentation of exceptions reports and submission of recommendation for improvement of Quality of Service for ISD and other services.• Ensure of Implementation of ISDN, ITFS and HCD Services and Routing.• Ensure Implementation of ISD pre paid calling Services.• Act as a focal person for coordination with local/distant end IGEs, Satellite Earth Stations, SMW-3/SMW-4 cable stations and NMS, Transmission Network Regions Islamabad/Karachi, CMOs and SCO. • Management all staff related matters (Finance and Establishment).
