Pakistan's inaugural Bio-Diesel Production facility boasts a capacity of 100MTPD. Overseeing production operations and addressing process issues during start-up and shutdown periods. Responsible for orchestrating, executing, and sustaining production process workflows, while also ensuring quality control and plant upkeep. Key involvement in the following units:• Storage and Settling Unit: Facilitating the settling process of raw materials to eliminate impurities, as well as overseeing the loading and unloading of Bio-diesel and associated materials like Chicken Acid Oil, Methanol, Sulfuric Acid, glycerin, and tar.• Pre-Esterification Unit: Directing the reaction of chicken acid oil with methanol, employing sulfuric acid as a catalyst, with a reaction duration of 3 hours to yield ester (RCOOR').• Trans-Esterification Unit: Managing the reaction of ester with alkali solution (NAOH+Methanol) in tubular reactors at a 1:5 ratio to produce transitional state ester with an acid value ranging from (0.15-0.25).• Distillation Unit: Supervising vacuum distillation of the trans-ester in packed column beds, resulting in LDO (Light Diesel Oil) extraction from the top, HDO (Heavy Diesel Oil) from the middle, and tar from the bottom, with an acid value between (0.2-0.5).• Methanol Recovery Unit: Overseeing methanol recovery processes at the packed bed column.

• Collaborate with Maintenance, Electrical, Instrument, and Civil departments to minimize downtime and meet targets effectively.•Develop comprehensive work instructions for the entire plant and individual systems, such as Boiler and Distillation start-up and shutdown procedures.•Ensure the safe unloading of Raw materials and loading of Bio-diesel for Shipment.•Oversee the safe start-up and shut down of units in coordination with CRO's & operators, adhering to SOP's under both normal and emergency conditions.•Handle emergencies and execute tasks safely to prevent personnel injuries and equipment damage.•Manage shift production control from pre-treatment of raw oil (FFA & Triglycerides) to the production of high-quality Methyl Ester.•Implement measures to minimize raw oil loss during normal operations and shutdown/start-up activities.•Champion safe work practices during operation and maintenance activities.
