Technip is a leader of a joint venture with Fluor, was awarded a substantial Program Management Consultancy (PMC) contract by PETRONAS for the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project located in the state of Johor, Malaysia. • Responsible for vessel registration and updated berthing schedule in port system.• Secure earliest berthing considering tide/draft restrictions, tight feeder connections and special requirements of the vessel command• Obtain detail information of vessel specification, stowage structure/bay plan and limitations liaising with Vessel command.• Prepare discharge instructions/bay plans to terminal and port agents.• Prepare container load and discharge list in timely manner, and check if it is in line with Master instructions including partner’s cargo.• Simulate loading and discharging plans prior to preparing the final plan• Optimize / Maximize vessel utilization in considerations of safety & constraint of the vessel with respective port calls i.e. Stability & draft limitations.• Ensure special cargo stowage restrictions are observe such as for IMDG, OOG, Reefers, and UDAB as for vessel & port requirements.• Maintain a good crane intensity/split to optimize productivity, in liaison with terminal Planners• Provide vessel command/terminal/agents with final load plan within the required period.• Manage productivity levels of all ports/terminals and initiate appropriate corrective actions to optimize berth/crane productivities and maintain all lifting as pre-planned.• Initiate all proactive/corrective actions that are required to minimize berthing/sailing delays.• Arranged for vessel activities at port: Permit to Work (PTW), vessel bunkering, supply fresh water and garbage disposal.• Arranged for vessel’s crew formalities for On-signer/Off-signer.• Negotiated with port for claiming purpose for vessel’s damage happen during terminal operation.• Supported logistics department pertaining to all logistics activities.• Executed container control function by monitoring stock sufficiency.• Monitored all Container Depot to ensure smooth operation.• Coordinated haulage arrangement for container re-positioning.
