As an IP Datacom Service Engineer at Huawei Global Service Center Pakistan, I play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support and ensuring the smooth functioning of IP data communication networks. My day-to-day tasks and network operations revolve around the configuration, troubleshooting, migration, relocation, and version upgradation of Huawei Datacom devices. I am responsible for providing IP Backhaul and IPRAN solutions for 2G, 3G, 4G, and OAM services, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal network performance.-Actively involved in the INDONESIA IOH Migration & Swap project, handling both Cold and Hot Swap scenarios.-Swapped Nokia and Cisco devices with Huawei NE-8000 M8/M14 and ATN910C devices. i.e. For aggregation: Migration of BSC, RNC, RTN Access, Peering, PE (RAN to Core) Services from Nokia ALU 7750 to Huawei NE-8000 M14.-Relocated Huawei devices, specifically CX-600 and ATN 910C, to cater to project requirements.-Formulated high-quality Methods of Procedure (MOPs) by translating existing configurations on the Huawei side according to GSC standards.-Configurations encompassed VPN instances, routing policies, ACLs, IGP, Ethernet Trunks, physical ports, associated sub-interfaces, BGP, MPLS LDP & TE, L2 VPN, L3 VPN, and L2 accessing L3 VPN.-Hand on experience to prepare HLD/LLD & Network designing & Planning.-Worked as a Next Day Monitoring Engineer to monitor network performance and promptly address any issues or incidents that arose.
