I am Muhammad Nauman Saeed, currently working as a doctoral student at the Energy Technology Division at Chalmers University of Technology and a master's degree holder in Sustainable Energy Systems from the same university. My master’s thesis involved modeling a chemical plant employing a gasification method called Chemical Looping Gasification followed by Fischer Tropsch Synthesis for the production of bio-aviation fuel using the ASPEN Plus modeling tool along with a techno-economic analysis of the process.I did my bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. I was awarded the 'High Achievers Award' by NUST for winning the 'Design, Build, and Fly Competition' by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) GIKI Chapter in 2018. I have worked as a ‘Graduate Maintenance Engineer’ at Engro Fertilizers Limited where I was involved in a major Inspection (MI) of a GE MS5001-PA gas turbine and got the chance to practically observe the components of a gas turbine. My work as a maintenance engineer involved supervising the maintenance team to perform and plan corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance of rotary and stationary equipment of the plant as well as procuring the necessary parts needed for O&M.

Moreover, I also passed work permit and scaffolding certifications during my time at Engro.
