LOGIN (Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah) is a scientific paper competition aimed at promoting academic research and scholarly writing among students. Participants are encouraged to delve into various fields of study and contribute original insights and analysis through their written works. LOGIN provides a platform for students to showcase their research skills, critical thinking abilities, and academic excellence. It fosters an environment of intellectual exchange and scholarly discourse, empowering participants to explore new ideas and perspectives while honing their writing and research capabilities.

GEOID is an acronym for Geodetic Initiation and Softskill Development, which is an initiation vehicle aimed at new students of Geodesy Engineering at Gadjah Mada University to foster leadership, kinship, interactive and professionalism.

During my internship at PT Riung Mitra Lestari's MGM site, I contributed to topographic surveys and mine monitoring. My responsibilities included original topo surveys, progress monitoring of the mine, and surveying coal roof and floor. I also monitored site activities, tracked fleet movement, checked elevations, and installed design markers.I performed volume calculations of materials (coal, topsoil, and overburden) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using Terrestrial Laser Scanners, Total Stations, and Geodetic GPS for accurate measurements. I also operated the DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone for aerial mapping and documentation.Key tasks included monitoring slope deformation, gathering blasting data, calculating haul distances, and ensuring the safety radius for blasting operations. I participated in joint surveys with contractors and reconciled volume data between surveyors, ensuring accurate production calculations.Weekly and monthly topographic updates were conducted to track mine progress, and end-of-month (EOM) volume measurements were used for invoicing by the owner.
