• Designing, Planning and Delivery of large scale Fixed & Wireless Transport network, that includes Optical Fiber Network of approx. 21,000 km, IPRAN (approx. 700 Routers), DWDM Microwave (13k+ Links), VSAT, and Synchronization for 2G/3G/4G and Fixed Line B2B Network.• Translate strategic & business needs into technical targets & performance indicators.• Conduct the investment forecasting, planning, budgeting (CAPEX, OPEX and CoGS) and ensure realization• Lead the RFP processes for MW/VSAT/IP RAN/ DWDM/ Fiber and Managed Capacity solutions in coordination with Supply Chain and Procurement team• Lead the Transport Network Automation Program for Network Performance Management, Capacity Management Process, Incident Management, Configuration Management, and new node(s) Provisioning• Lead Network Design Optimization and associated Energy Optimization program within Transport Network• Manage the Budget preparation for transport network and its pre & post evaluation• Network Risk analysis, identification, and proactive mitigation in the transport domain• Disaster Recovery Process Planning• Translate strategic & business needs into technical targets & performance indicators.• Strengthen vendors management & performance evaluation• Lead Governance and synergize with internal stakeholders & business partners to ensure timely completion of projects• Strengthen the planning & implementation of new technical & business requirement like B2B Fixed Line Requirement and FTTT (Fiber to the Tower).• Communicate effectively and collaborate with CXOs for Transport Network Strategy, Business case approvals and Performance Reporting.• Internal stakeholder management (with Legal, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Regulatory & Government Affairs, B2B, Commercial departments).• Regular engagement with vendors to conduct assessment on evolution of Transport Network technologies and add to the roadmap.

• Responsible for Second Level of Maintenance activities (S.L.M.) for IP MPLS, OTN, DWDM, Satellite and NMS Platforms in multi-vendor environment.• Design and Architecture Review.• CAPEX and OPEX budget forecasting and management. • Participation in Operational Excellence activities along with Sourcing and Supply chain team.• Support Design team in feature testing and rollout for advance / new technologies and topologies.• Participate as CST member in contract negotiation and signing with suppliers / vendors. • Optimization of Core and Access Transport networks nationwide.• S.P.O.F. identification and its mitigation plan.• ROW Management for own built fiber deployment scope and new fiber deployments.• Prepare deployment guidelines for ISP and OSP network along with specifications. • Deployment and Operations design review for Fiber Sharing footprint OMOs (Other Mobile Operators)• Reporting and presentation of business case / KPI/ Investment case to HoD Technology Operations/ C.T.O.• Implementation of SLAs on automated tools and ensures compliance.• Maintain KPIs as per planned values and agreed Company Targets• Software & feature upgrades.

• Responsible for Second Level of Maintenance (S.L.M.) support on all O&M/MS projects in co-ordination with Huawei HQ/TAC support.• Responsible for submission of troubleshooting cases and product suggestions for future references on Huawei Support website.• Software Upgradation of SDH Equipment (OSN/Metro series) and NMS (T2000).• Execution of Reconstruction policies recommended by Huawei RnD in different service providers/ Operators.• Meeting with customers to discuss the Transmission KPIs on regular basis.• Corrective maintenance based on reports extracted from Huawei Inspection tool for Transmission products. • Submission of Trouble shooting cases and product suggestions.• Commissioning of OSN Series products on Phase I, II, III and IV of Telenor Pakistan’s Optical network. • Conduct HW and SW acceptances with the customer and technical support for test cases during acceptance.• Integration of Huawei Transmission products with BSS and NSS networks.• Installation of EMS Server and Clients for PTCL, Mobilink and Transworld’s Optical network projects.
