The GE90 Customer Technical Program team play a pivotal role in enhancing the GE90 engine program for the Boeing 777, focusing on improving global MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations and customer service agreements.My key responsibilities include:Tooling Development & Support: Collaborating with shop floor and US-based design teams to address tooling issues, update maintenance manuals, and lead the design and certification of locally manufactured tools to boost efficiency.Procedure Innovation: Drafting new maintenance procedures for the Engine Shop Manual, driven by tooling changes, new requirements, or identified issues, ensuring up-to-date and effective maintenance practices.Shop Floor Technical Support: Providing critical technical assistance to partner/customer shops, resolving queries related to procedures, part conditions, and tooling, enhancing shop productivity and customer satisfaction.Fleet Communication: Writing Fleet Highlights articles to share updates on tooling and procedural changes across the GE MRO network, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.Technical Reviews & Analytics: Conducting detailed assessments of on-wing hardware conditions and reviewing engine hardware in the shop, offering insights to improve engine performance and time-on-wing.In this role, I contribute to the profitability of the engine program by reducing shop visit costs, decreasing turnaround times, and improving engine durability. My work supports GE Aerospace's commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
