My legal career has been primarily focused on Tax and Corporate Law, where I have consistently demonstrated expertise and unwavering dedication.My responsibilities have included drafting responses to legal notices issued by the revenue department, representing clients in appeals before the Commissioner [Appeals] and the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, conducting legal research, interpreting statutory changes and government notifications, and providing administrative support. Additionally, I have provided advisory services to clients concerning their tax matters, encompassing both indirect and direct taxes. My proficiency in navigating complex legal processes has resulted in favorable outcomes for my clients in initial proceedings. I have achieved favorable decisions in over 30 appeals before the Commissioner (Appeals) and successfully handled numerous cases before the Appellate Tribunal IR, protecting my clients from unlawful tax recoveries.In the course of my practice, I have drafted and reviewed various contracts and agreements, covering areas such as employment, partnership, lease, non-disclosure, and franchising.
