Responsible for the engineering of products relevant to workover risers such as specialty joints, test caps, hang-off bushing, shipping baskets, etc. according to project specifications and engineering standards. Design project-specific riser products such as test caps, protection caps, hang-off bushing, shipping baskets for riser specialty joints as per project requirements and engineering standards.Key Engineering Achievements:- Create and release part reports, drawings, and technical documentation for procurement and fabrication of products in Teamcenter Engineering.- Prepare product definitions and establish design input for the detailed engineering phase. - Lead design review (DR3 and DR4) meetings before final product release ensuring client specifications are met and delegating any modifications that may be needed.Key Design Achievements:- Create 3D models utilizing Siemens NX and associated machining drawings of specialty joints riser pipes, ensuring client requirements and industry standards are met.- Conduct draft checks on riser and test cap drawings ensuring the highest quality and design standards.- Create GA drawings for workover riser assemblies in 3D CAD (Siemens NX).- Make necessary modifications to drawings and models after design reviews and supplier meetings.

As a graduate engineer, I have been enrolled in an intensive graduate program initiated by the company. Although I was immediately assigned to the project, I was able to complete classroom courses and online trainings related to the subsea industry, design engineering, and professional development.

Summer internshipMari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) is well reputed oil and gas company of Pakistan. I remained internee for six weeks at the well site named as "KalaBagh 1A". During my internship i gained hands-on experience of the industry and practically learnt different drilling operations and well testing operations. I also managed to work with drilling engineer to prepare daily drilling report (DDR), and to check the inventory on well site.The operations which I observed and learnt about during the internship are:- 6" hole section drilling- 7" Liner Hanging and Cementing- 2-Stage Cementing at Halini Deep- Tubing Convade Perforation (TCP)- Drill Stem Test (DST)- Surface Well Testing- Coil Tubing- Vertical Seismic Profile (VSP)- Production System Plateform (PSP)
