• Analysed the legislative and economic factors contributing to the real estate bubble in Pakistan during early 2000s and its implications for urban design and planning of metropolitan cities.• Interviewed urban studies experts at Lahore Development Authority regarding governance challenges posed by the limitations of the existing legislative frameworks vis-à-vis illegal housing schemes.• Facilitated with development of new elective course ‘Law and the City: Governing an Urban Jungle’ in the law school by assisting with selection of reading material and implementation of pedagogy.• Analysed and prepared fact sheets on numerous cases relating to land grabbing by mafia groups, large-scale land acquisitions by private corporations, and inadequate compensations of acquired land to the stakeholders.• Prepared a research report on lending conditionalities, governance frameworks, and investment priorities of World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and New Development Bank (formerly BRICS Bank).
