Additionally, I implemented 5S practices and worked with the dispatch team to optimize yard space, increasing storage capacity by 75% and improving dispatch efficiency. My efforts to reduce the environmental impact of the galvanizing line included a 34% reduction in lead consumption and the introduction of emission-reducing technology. I also collaborated on integrating a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with SAP and Level 2 automation to enhance production efficiency and data visibility. Furthermore, I managed plant communications, led ISO surveillance and recertification audits, and contributed to achieving a NAMC Silver Award and the plant’s first Responsible Steel Site Certification.
