As an assistant environmental consultant at Perunding UEP, I contribute to the preparation and delivery of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental management plan (EMP) reports for various development projects in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I also conduct field surveys, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.Environmental consultants provide advice on matters relating to environmental management. Our aim is to ensure that the actions of property developers, private companies, landowners and government departments comply with appropriate standards and regulations, and minimise damage to the natural environment.I graduated with a degree in environmental science from the University of Portsmouth in July 2022, where I gained a solid foundation in environmental management, sustainability, and conservation. I also obtained the Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management issued by IEMA, which demonstrates my commitment and competence in the field. Additionally, I served as the vice president of the Malaysian Society at the university, where I organized and led cultural and social events for the Malaysian student community.
