I have a master's degree in food science and innovation from University of Chester, where I designed and conducted a research project on optimizing a novel functional food product, using HACCP principles and statistical tools. I also hold a Level 3 HACCP Training certification and a Basic Course on Computer Applications certificate, demonstrating my skills and knowledge in food safety and quality management, product development, and consumer behavior.As a Quality Control Supervisor, I ensured that the production, processing, and packaging of milk and dairy products complied with local, national, and international food safety and quality regulations and standards. I conducted inspections and testing of raw milk and dairy products, and provided guidance and training to dairy farmers and milk processing facilities on best practices for milk production, handling, and storage. Previously, I was a Farm Officer at Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur, where I contributed to the research and extension services in the field of agriculture, horticulture, plant breeding, and plant protection. I collaborated with a team of experts and farmers to diagnose and solve various crop production and quality issues, using scientific methods and innovative technologies. I also facilitated the practical training and educational tours of the undergraduate students in the College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara. My goal is to leverage my academic and professional background to pursue a career in the food industry, where I can utilize my interpersonal skills, team building abilities, and passion for food science and innovation.
