• Capture customer requirements through design workshops, network analysis, customer interviews and documenting them under official CRD (Customer Requirement Document) and getting the sign off from the customers.
• Assess customer design, configurations, packet flow, platforms used and propose modification to improve network design, building gap analysis report against Cisco recommendations and best practices.
• Create the network designs best suited for customer requirements.

• Help fellow EMEA Backbone TAC engineers in their stuck / complex cases, lab recreates, network down scenarios.
• Review engineer’s long pending issues, discussing with engineers and framing set of next action plan.
• Collaborate with the Cisco Business Units (BU), Development Engineers (DE’s) consistently for product specific issues, feature related queries, best practices for platforms.
• Lead the team of TAC engineers in operational support, provide technical escalation and high severity issue management for Cisco's global customers and partners.
• Ensure engineers maintain quality lab recreates, documentations and troubleshooting approach.
• Review customer’s network design along and suggest changes to mitigate current or potential issues.

• Work as a Backbone TAC Engineer for Routing-Switching and Catalyst product line, in US, APAC, EMEA theaters.
• Pick and resolve complex Catalyst platforms and network issue related TAC cases for Cisco Partners and Customers.
• Attend high severity cases, critical maintenance windows to drive the issues towards resolution.
• Work with various organizations like schools, college, online markets, private organizations, hospital environment, banking, governments, military networks.
• Handle escalations, various network down situations and help customers recover faster with less business impact.
• Recreate several complex network issues, reporting them via software bugs and work with engineering to come up with temporary workarounds and permanently resolve them in subsequent software codes.

• Manage L2 and L3 protocols on CORE switches of 6500 series (18 chassis), DISTRIBUTION switches of 4500 series (around 40 chassis), Cisco FWSM, Juniper Firewalls ACROSS 10 WORLDWIDE LOCATIONS.
• Plan and design network base for new projects, which includes designing IP scheme, vlan creating on CORE switches and FWSM, opening access to the required resources from Firewall, configuring syslog, SNMP, NTP, etc.
