• Troubleshooting of Routing and Forwarding Protocols (IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, LDP, LSP).• Experience in troubleshooting Layer-1, Layer-2, and Layer-3 networks and connectivity.• Experience in operating and troubleshooting optical networks and equipment• Trouble Ticket management, Outage/LOD notification management, processing escalations. Generate, drive, and update problem-tracking tickets via multiple systems and continually improve business practices• Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events.• Work with external and internal Verizon organizations coordinating and troubleshooting network events.• Designing, implementing and managing the Incident Management process including creating and updating all supporting documentation.• Directing activities and establishing command and control during technology incidents.• Coordinating and driving all activities during the incident on the incident bridge to quickly restore services.• Ensuring status updates are provided to company leadership and customers during recovery activities
