Currently working in the Structured Finance department as a member of the London-based Data group. My primary role as a Data Specialist is to provide technical support to the team and improve existing automation processes.My Core Responsibilities include: • Automate data collection• Automate reporting• Write bespoke VBA functions for the team to help automate data scraping for specific transactions. • Contribute to the development of the data scraping application – identifying improvements to existing tools and implementing these, and building new tools.• Identify opportunities for improvement to common resources and processes.Other Responsibilities include: • Maintaining performance and surveillance data for CLO, RMBS, ABS, and CMBS transactions for APAC, EMEA and the US.• Mapping/Consolidating Loans and Bonds Traded in CLO Portfolios. • Setting up templates for new transactions.• Providing Analytical support - predominantly bringing potential issues or notable data to the attention of Credit Analysts.• Training junior members of staff.

My primary role as a Data Analyst was to provide data and analytical support for Credit Analysts. I have experience across different business sectors and also in different regions. My Core Responsibilities include: • Maintaining performance and surveillance data for CLO, RMBS, ABS, and CMBS transactions for APAC, EMEA and the US.• Automating data collection.• Amending existing VBA Code and writing new code for the Data Scaping "Hoover" tool.• Providing Analytical support - predominantly bringing potential issues or notable data to the attention of Credit Analysts.Other Responsibilities include: • Mapping/Consolidating Loans and Bonds Traded in CLO Portfolios. • Setting up templates for new transactions.• Checking data has been correctly published to Fitch Website.• Attending screener meetings to identify data related issues and then resolving them.• Responding to client queries in regards to transactions. • Training junior members of staff.

My time as a Data Entry Administrator has given me invaluable experience in Finance and a general understanding of documents reporting business financial performance. Core Responsibilities include:• Data entry and cleanup of existing surveillance data.• Downloading and chasing reports from trustee websites.• Inputting data from reports into Fitch’s systems manually or by use of automation tools.• Running and checking Data Spiders on remote computers. • Monitoring surveillance inboxes and saving reports on network drives.• Liaising with analysts where unusual data patterns are discovered.

During my time at Waitrose I have not only gained knowledge and experience on working as a team but also in leading and coordinating a team.
