Bagh-e is an app developed to address financial inclusion and low farm yields among small-scale farmers in developing agri-based countries. Bagh-e is part of the Harvard Innovation Labs. The longer term vision is to evolve it into the world’s first Shariah-compliant digital agriculture bank. I built the idea since inception and am now involved in the strategic direction and product management oversight.

As a Board Member, I helped set the strategic direction by prioritizing funding for education, research, and innovation in Islamic financial products and services.

The BIBF is the Central Bank of Bahrain's training and consultancy arm, and the Islamic Finance Center is one of the world's oldest professional qualification providers in Islamic Finance.• Achieved a 300% revenue increase for the Department, reaching $1 million and returning it to profitability• Initiated a new strategy geared towards e-Learning and digitization. Launched the world’s first education-linked NFTs and held the first-ever Islamic finance seminar in the Metaverse. Established to promote the banking sector in Bahrain, BAB serves as a pivotal platform for dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy among its members, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders in the financial services industry.

COMSATS CIIT is Pakistan’s largest university network and is ranked first in terms of academic research. The UKIFC is a UK-based specialist Islamic finance body working with governments, regulators, religious groups, and various private and public sector organizations.• Involved in establishing the Shariah and Takaful governance frameworks for the Nigerian Central Bank’s Pension and Insurance bodies – Nigerian Insurance Commission (NIACOM) and Pensions Commission Nigerian (PENCOM)• Part of the team that gave Islamic Relief International’s Waqf investment strategy• Advised the Scottish government on the viability of funding alternate energy projects using Sukuk bonds• Worked with one of Scotland’s largest Credit Union – ScotWest Credit Union, for a Shariah-compliant micro-finance product offering• Involved in organizing financial inclusion and capacity-building programs in Nigeria with NGO backed by The Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation Education

Position involved assisting patients, not proficient in English, to communicate with NHS staff at The Stirling Royal Infirmary Scotland.

Internship at Descon Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Descon Engineering - one of Pakistan’s largest engineering firms. Started off by creating an MS Access based data-base for the retention of client information, created contacts within the industrial sector by cold calling and eventually converted a few contacts into clients for Descon Power Solution. Offered full-time contract at conclusion of internship, but had to decline due to pursuit of higher education.
