Responsible as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in the R&D Department.working on various projects which include, Prototype design for Interceptor 4x4 (Muhafiz-iv) , currentlyin the production phase, CAD Design concepts for custom front ends for Land Rover Defender 90, Conceptfor military full forward cabin on a Military 6x6 Chassis, Monocoque concept for a 4x4 APC & design anddevelopment of Ballistic Doors for a very high value client.Major Responsibilities During these Projects Include,• Concept Designs for Prototype Manufacturing of Light and Heavy Armored Vehicles, Hull Design,Chassis and Suspension Integration to meet the specified STANAG/ NIJ customer requirements,Homologation assessment to comply with ECE and implementation in design. Finalization & and integration ofadvanced equipment on vehicles such as NBC System, AFSS (Automatic Fire suppression system),SML (Smoke Grenade Launcher) & and critical engine ballistic protection.• Crew Cabin Interior Detailing. Planning and positioning of the driver seat, steering wheel/column, andcrew seats ergonomically (SAE J826). Optimizing VLS for the Driver and Modular Dashboard Design.• Expertise in handling the project for design reviews, checking the static & and dynamic interferences for GD&T &risk analysis. Interacting with Photoshop, manufacturing dept correspondence, suppliers & and internal qualificationteams to optimize the planning and creation of sheet metal BOQ for production and fabrication within deadlines.• Proficient in specification finalization, concept design generation, QR, RFQ, RFP, Feasibility study, proposaldrawings, resource planning within budget estimate
