I spent the better part of 2018 traveling the globe and networking with nomadic, digital entrepreneurs from more than 45 different countries. I toured Eastern Europe extensively and traveled from Moscow, Russia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia via the Trans-Siberian railroad as part of Nomad Train. In addition, my travel included a digital entrepreneurship conference (Nomad Cruise) at sea aboard a cruise ship that sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Barcelona, Spain to Recife, Brazil, with stops in the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, Africa.

Adams Rite Aerospace is a manufacturer of complex components for a variety of aerospace applications. As Business Unit Manager, I had P&L responsibility for a nearly $70M Fluids product line, which included a line of lavatory hardware for narrowbody and widebody aircraft, nose-to-tail water systems for business jets, and water systems for freighter aircraft.As Regional Sales Manager, I was assigned to grow both the OEM and Aftermarket presence of Adams Rite Aerospace hardware (for both our Fluids product line and the Cockpit Security/Hardware product line) in the Asia-Pacific and PNW markets.

Meggitt Safety Systems is a leading designer and manufacturer of fire detection and suppression systems for a wide variety of airframe manufacturers and engine/APU suppliers.As Program Manager, I managed key elements of the product lifecycle for several programs, including fire detection/suppression systems for the A320 NEO, and pneumatic valves for the Embraer Legacy 450/500 aircraft.

As the lead control systems engineer for the CH-53K helicopter program, I am responsible for the integration of our gas turbine auxiliary power engine with the aircraft from a controls standpoint. I manage all controls systems requirements and initiate changes to controller hardware of software where necessary to meet various performance objectives.Part of a team that earned a patent for devising a control algorithm to accelerate an auxiliary gas turbine engine more effectively with limited instability.

Managed destructive and non-destructive testing of a 150-lb thrust jet engine for a military application in accordance with MIL-STD standards

Designed a test fixture that could test various electrode material effectively and efficiently to verify their suitability for fuel cell propulsion applications. As Performance Engineer, I managed the testing of miniature fuel cell power plants to verify their robustness in automobile applications.
