Is on various committees of Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan for the formulations of national Standards and specifications for industrial products and is the current Chairman of the technical committee “BDC-5, Cement & Lime”. Has been on the organizing and review committees of the 12th International Congress on Polymers and Concrete (12th ICPIC), 2007 Chuncheon (Korea) and on the International Advisory Committee of 7th Asian Symposium on Polymers and Concrete, Turkey, 2012 is also a reviewer for various international and local Scientific , Materials and Engineering journal.With a Fellowship of Pakistan Institute of Chemists, a Doctorate in Polymer Modified Cement Systems, a Specialization in the development of Hi-Tech Concrete–Polymer Composites from Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, Nihon University Japan and a Post Master's Certificate in Chemical Engineering related to Cement Technology from State Cement Corporation of Pakistan, represents Pakistan in Middle East Dry Mortars Association (MEDMA) founded in Germany.
