Capacity analyst evaluates the provisioning of IT infrastructure resources used to support business processes; The capacity analyst provides IT visibility, for optimized utilization of existing data center hardware and software resources include monitoring, reporting, tuning, planning and predictive modeling in order to meet performance and availability SLAs.Key responsibilities• Set up meetings with solution design team and fetch required business inputs for new accountestablishment.• Preparing the hardware sizing model for the customer.• Preparation of hardware architecture diagram based on the sizing, regular update of diagram asper change in customer requirement• Capturing the business parameters (subscribers’ volume, number of billing accounts etc.) fromthe customers and Update the business parameters (EP) sheet on monthly basis, ensuring thenumbers do not exceed the agreed SLA with customer.• Participation in the scoping session for new business proposals• Participation in Annual budget of various customer accounts (AOP), providing suggestions onadditional hardware, plan to upgrade the existing hardware• Sizing hardware based on major releases/concepts deployed in production.• Provide suggestions to management for optimized utilization of hardware budget• Application and system data collection set up on production servers through monitoring toolsduring establishment phase of the project.• Preparation of production reports/performance graphs, system resource utilization report andpresenting it to CP management/customers on daily/weekly/Monthly basis.• Analysis of system resource Utilization/ storage space Utilization, set up the clean-up rules onhigh utilized servers, providing suggestions on the need of additional resources/hardware.
