Lanco Infratech Ltd is Constructing 2 X 660 MW, Amarkantak Power Project as EPC Contractor for its client Lanco Power, at Korba, Chhattisgarh.

Since Aug'10, with Lanco at Amarkantak 3&4 (2X660 MW), at Korba, as Site In-charge. Responsible to manage site activities of all related works of 2X660 MW including Civil, Mech, Elec packages on behalf of EPC, Awards for which are placed from HQ. Heading a 380 strong team. Apart from execution, all the service functions are also supervised by me. EDUCATIONALConvent educated, completed schooling from UP Board in 1977, BE (Mech) in 81, from MNIT, Allahabad, MBA from IGNOU in Apr’02.PREVIOUS PROFFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AT NTPCSep’81-Sep'82 - TrainingOct'82-Oct 87 - Planning & systems, the key for maintaining tight time schedules, has given me an exposure to, and experience in various facets of Project Constructions. Nov’87-Feb'92 - Erection of Rotary Parts, then complete 210 MW SG, made ready for commissioning in less than 17 monthsMar'92-May'96 - Boiler Maint - over-hauling of milling system, PF lines, burners, etc. Jul’96-May’98, Erection of SG (500 MW), ESP and associated Rotary machines.Jun’98-Jul'02, Maint of 4X67.5 MW units at Balco (maintained by NTPC). Tube leakages brought down from 45 nos. in the year 97-98 to 6 in the year 02.Aug’02-May’03: Stores management at Singrauli Station, optimization of Insurance cost was one of the main achievements.Jun’03-May'08 - Technical Services Division, including Planning & Systems, Field Engg. Finance, HR, etc; liaison with Reg HQ, and Gov departs, Vindhyachal-III Project reached the Status of Project Excellence by IPMA. Application document was made by undersigned, with other team members.Jun'08-May'10: Sipat Super Project, st-I (3 X 660 MW + 2X500) handled the Coal Handling & Ash Handling Plants and Ash Water Recirculation System, in addition to the balance works of 2X500.May'10-Jul'10:NTPC Korba, as Project In-charge of 500 MW
