I completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship (Aerospace) at PIA Training Center approved by CAA Pakistan. It included 10 months of theoretical training (13 modular courses), which helped me build persistent knowledge of Aerospace Engineering principles along with Aviation Legislation, Human Factors and Maintenance Practices to ensure that I am not at all hazardous in a professional engineering environment. Then I went through an… Show more I completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship (Aerospace) at PIA Training Center approved by CAA Pakistan. It included 10 months of theoretical training (13 modular courses), which helped me build persistent knowledge of Aerospace Engineering principles along with Aviation Legislation, Human Factors and Maintenance Practices to ensure that I am not at all hazardous in a professional engineering environment. I scored 86% marks in Institutional Training. Then I went through an On-Job Training Period for 2 years. These 2 years increased my technical abilities, skills and knowledge on a wider aspect, on the other hand increasing my love and passion towards working in the Aircraft Engineering field.During my OJT period, I was allocated in several departments and sections of Pakistan International Airline Engineering of which I have devoted considerable time in PIA’s Line Maintenance, CF6-56 Engine Overhaul Shop and Base Maintenance. This OJT rotation helped me gain practical experience and learn workshop practices of various engineering sections and groomed me into a multi-tasking technician.As an Aircraft Mechanic I have carried out major/minor overhauls of both Airframe and Power plant, Refueling, Servicing, Inspection, Troubleshooting, Component removal/installation, including reading technical documents i.e AMM, AIPC. etc following Maintenance Manuals and necessary safety rules.
