Bahrain City Centre Hotels Project.

MEP Coordinator on Hotels construction responsible for MEP installations and duties are as described below:Attends and organize all site meeting with the engineer / Consultant for MEP and also Primary contact for JV partners and vendors for MEP works.In charge of following up of the MEP related changes, additional works as well as claims in accordance with the established procedure of the contract.Responsible for the analysis of works performed ( monthly report - final report) and the assessment of consequences where neededGive the proposal for allocation of sub-contractor to the Project Manager & Assists the CM in preparing the monthly reports.Preparing punch lists, snagging & Handing Over of MEP installations room by room floor by floor. Coordination of MEP services with other construction trades i.e. clashes of MEP with ceiling, furniture, kitchen & Laundry Equipments etc. Coordination of MEP first fix & Final fix installations for Kitchens, Bars, Spa, Pool, Laundry which includes various systems like Steam, LPG Gas, Jacuzzis, hydro sorbs kitchen hoods, washers, dryers, Pressing units etc. Mercury Bahrain

On the above building in overall charge of the coordination of MEP services with other trades i.e. civil, interior etc. I was moved from Bahrain World Trade Center, Bahrain to this Project as Electrical supervisor but after a year I was promoted as MEP Coordinator because of my interest & good knowledge Mechanical & Plumbing services. As I came on this project at initial stage, I was fully involved in site mobilization, design, estimation, installation, testing & commissioning of various MEP Systems as described below:Under ground drainage, Water services, electrical Ducting, Electrical Earthing & lightning protection works. MEP builder's Works requirements like concealed Electrical, Plumbing Pipings & opening for MEP installations.Complete Electrical Take offs & Variation take offs for this Project. Offloading, moving & positioning of Heavy MEP equipments like Generators, chillers, transformers, Pumps, tanks, electrical panels, AHUs etc.Installation of MEP First Fix like Conduiting, cable racks, trays, trunking, cable Pulling, wiring, termination, installation of MS piping for HVAC & fire fighting, installation of PVC, HDPE, PPR & Copper pipe for water supply & drainage systems.Installation of MEP Second Fix Like Lighting, Wiring accessories, Security equipments Sanitary fixings, Grills, Diffusers.Assisting Commissioning team in Water & Air balancing, Electrical testing & commissioning.

Site Supervisor on a site with various nationalities, ensuring all aspects of the installation are carried out efficiently, safely & in accordance with the working schedule. As it was the construction of Bahrain's tallest building i deal with installation of vertical electrical services like Cable racks, tray, Bus Bars, cable pulling in vertical shafts etc. I deal with design queries on drawings & complete take offs to ensure the job has the relevant materials to make sure productivity levels remain & the completion of site inspections. Also I deal with all aspects of paperwork from design queries on drawings & Site, completing submittals then creating single line diagrams from the electrical drawings for installation & completing completion test certificates whilst liaising at all times with the client & suppliers.

In ALBA Pot Line 5 Extension Project Alkomed had few Systems to complete as MEP contractor. I was hired by Alkomed as an Electrical lead hand. There I was responsible for Installation of Cable trays, trunkings, conduiting, wiring, cable pulling and cable termination .After completion of this project I was transferred to BWTC where Alkomed was responsible for MEP Builder's work until EMJV was appointed as MEP Contractor.
