Responsible for reviewing electrical drawings submitted by concessionaire and making corrections if required; Supervision of shifting of poles, towers, U/G cables, O/H Lines, PSS and DSS from ROW; Inspection of electrical works being done by concessionaire at different locations of project highway; Supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of high mast of different height and luminaries for plaza area and junction lighting; Installation and commissioning of Highway Lighting, transmission line, substation and DG Set; Installation and commissioning of UPS, AVR, inverter & APFC panel; Co-ordination with state electricity board for dismantling and shifting of 220kv, 33kv & 11kv transmission line and 440v distribution lines coming in ROW or crossing the road; Liaison with Client and concessionaire for insuring quality of the deliverables within time and cost; Design of transmission line, substation, HT and LT control panel, highway lighting and electrical circuits; Installation and commissioning of measuring and safety equipment’s as per Design and drawing of the system; Detail calculation of power requirement for highway; Preparation of BOQ for roads and highway lighting system; Monitoring the daily, weekly & monthly progress; and conforms to all the operations are done in strict compliance with department safety rules and regulations, giving priority to safety and security. He is well conversant in national and international “best practices” in the latest conditions of contract, construction, and contract management and construction technology.
