My duties here included giving customers drink menus and answering their questions regarding ingredients, taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios), preparing beverages following recipes and as per the instructions of the customer, keeping the bar area clean at all times, maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates, checking if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs, complying with health and safety regulations, communicating customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

My duties and responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations of the cafe, training employees on beverage preparations and proper use of coffee equipment, coordinating with vendors and order supplies as needed (example: takeaway cups, coffee beans, milk and other ingredients), maintaining updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses, adding new menu items based on seasons and customer preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks), advising staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service, ensuring all cafe areas are clean and tidy, nurturing friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost entity’s reputation.
