On 25+ years of work journey to success in Textile industry (from fiber to apparel), I have traveled to 25+ countries and met 1000s of incredible people of different cultures, languages and countries. Traveling across the globe and working alongside people of different nationalities, cultural and social background has been the humbling experience as it has enriched me with empathy and compassionUnderstanding the background, stories of each of the people I met in the last 25+ years has helped me to forge robust relationships with people from 50+ countries. This is the biggest perk of my job that has helped shape my current self.The roller coaster ride of textile industry worldwide is not only exciting but also teaches tons of stuff. I believe that School of Hard knocks has contributed equally if not more than my MBA education.Getting a 360 degree view of the value chain is possible by working in different streams. I love my work and my assignments that have covered different functional areas of sales, product management, marketing, supply chain and international business development.
