    Master Thesis Title : Evaluation of Screw connection during Untightening using FEA - Towards Sustainable Remanufacturing.In my master thesis, I have focused on understanding of the mechanics of screw untightening, in the context of sustainable remanufacturing. The challenge is to predict and mitigate the impact of corrosion during untightening process. Using Ansys, I simulated the effects of corrosion during untightening of screw and investigated the torque-angle relationship and torsional twist due to the friction resistance in both the head and thread region.This research provides valuable insights in estimating the necessary torque for untightening and prediction of failure in screw joint. These insights are critical for successuful remanufactuing initiatives as it depends on the understanding and control of the screw untightening process.
