Responsibility over here of me is:1. NPD from idea generation to commercial run of malt extract powders, cereal flakes, high protein malt extracts with R&D teams of reknown groups like Uniliver, Nestle, OYC, Veeba and Kellogg's. 2. Managing the daily operations, planning and dispatch activities with the Site Team on daily basis.3. BOM validation and online trials for recipe validation within the decided controlled limits.4. Formulation of recipe and RM/ PM specifications management and coordinate with procurement team.5. Handling overall QC lab- Taking care of internal-external calibration, external testing.5. Preparing compliance report for GT & compliances audits.6. Responsible for all the audit including FSSC, Vendor audits, SMETA Audit for the plant.7. Responsible for all sites product commercial runs and R&D Trials.

It is a JV of MML- KF for development of product muesli as a breakfast food. I am there from MML side for doing R & D for product development by assimilating various cereal grains by indulging my past experience of Corn flakes manufacturing of MML. This is the tenure of all 10 months in Taloja and my responsibilities are:1. Quality analysis 2. Shelf life study (Accelerated & real time)3. New product development4. HPLC analysis of increased minerals and vitamin contents in proprietary food by combining more than four cereals and millet and preparation of daily basis reports of the same.5. QMS

My responsibilities over here are:1. Team member in whole product development cycle from recipe formulation to first commercial run.2. Responsible for all testing, record keeping and RM/ PM specification management throughout the product life cycle.3. Giving training to the shop floor employees for handling and quality management of new product.4. Make specifications for raw material and packaging material and handover them to procurement team and quality team for further processings.5. Allover record keeping of all products and materials used in product development cycle.6. Jointly work with marketing team for any benchmarking and current product cost improvement initiatives.7.Steering quality governance encompassing In-process controls, quality assurance, GMP, Quality systems, food safety, internal and external audits, hygiene & housekeeping regulatory compliance and KPI governance.8. Leading a team of quality executives in internal audits and cross functional teamworks including Site QA Executive, Chemist and Online Quality for continuous improvement and implementation of policies & programs related to quality & safety.9. Monitoring quality of the final product in compliance with quality standards, reviewing waste reduction during manufacturing and reducing the percentage of rejection.10.. Managed all online quality assurance activities in plant to ensure consistent food quality in line with company’s global quality standards and ensuring compliance to all related statutes. 11. Quality analysis of food products, RM, PM and FG in-house of products corn flakes, sugars, malt extract, malt, packaging laminate, corrgated cartons, soy lecithin, beer, alcohol percentage in whisky and other alcoholic products by pyconometer.

I learnt brewing, malting and flavour development in high gravity beers in newly installed unit of SAB-Miller's subsidery for training purpose as ORIENTAL BREWING COMPANY, YONGDONG, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA.
