As a Lead Solution Architect in Sherwin-Williams' Corporate IT department, I drive the design and implementation of innovative IT solutions to enhance employee and workplace experiences. With over 21 years at Sherwin-Williams and more than a year in my current role, I lead complex projects, including the BoF Parking Garage Solution, intranet platform evaluation, enterprise search implementation, and tenant preparation for deploying Microsoft Copilot and Copilot for M365. I provide technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and SharePoint, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Additionally, I focus on automation, security, and stakeholder coordination to optimize our digital employee experience.

As a Lead Developer on the Modern Intranet team, my responsibilities included: managing code turned over by the development team in Git/GitHub, performing code reviews, release planning, release building and deployment, taking charge of investigating various critical defects, helping business analysts define story cards for features and defects, providing guidance on technical issues to management and business stakeholders, conducting weekly developer sync-up meetings with Kuala Lumpur and Cleveland based development teams to work through roadblocks any development team member may run into, working with external vendors to troubleshoot on going issues, raising concerns to upper management when vendors push solutions that may increase dependency or costs. Some of the tools and technologies we used to build Kaleidoscope, a SharePoint based intranet platform include: NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, Handlebars, and Akumina Development Framework.

Following several years of development, maintenance, and upgrades of the Oracle WebCenter platform which serves the mySherwin intranet portal to 61,000+ SW employees, provided support and maintenance as needed as we prepare to transition to a new platform. Development done using Java, Oracle ADF, and HTML5. Currently in the planning stages to migrate the intranet to SharePoint Online. Primary frameworks and languages used for SharePoint Online include TypeScript, SPFx, React, PowerShell, and HTML5.Other incidental duties include, providing technical guidance for management as needed, collaborating with external vendors, mentoring junior colleagues, participating in hiring activities, providing junior colleagues performance feedback, vendor evaluation, review vendor contract documents for technical accuracy and project requirements, and training coordination.

Primary responsibilities include development, maintenance, and support of the Expense Transmittal module of the Sherwin Williams Enterprise Exchange Process (Sweep) intranet web application. SWeep is the invoice and vendor payment system used by Stores Group. All development and maintenance done using a mix of Java, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Bash Shell Scripting, HTML, and CSS. Furthermore, exposed to Struts, JQuery and Hibernate as SWeep uses all three frameworks in various modules. Tools used to carry out aforementioned tasks include Eclipse, SQL Developer, JBoss AS.

Developed for the Customer Order Entry and Merchandise Management modules of Sherwin Williams’ Point of Sale platform which is deployed at 3600+ stores. Development done using the Progress 4GL, C Programming Language, and Bash Shell Scripts on the Turbo Linux and SUSE Enterprise Linux 11 platforms. Other responsibilities also include, prepping gold images for training systems, QA testing of new software revisions, investigation of bugs reported by the second level support team, and correcting those bugs.

Provided second level support to the Store Computer Help Desk. Second level support duties included, but were not limited to, the investigation of reported bugs via black box testing and exploratory code analyses, working with senior developers to identify and resolve bugs, and developing software tools for the 2nd level support team and the helpdesk to streamline the resolution of common hardware and software problems. Other responsibilities also included building gold disks, correcting point of sale and merchandise management system’s batch problems, addressing datalocks, and white box testing of specific components of the Source application during the release of new software revisions and patches. Analyses, development, and testing of programs written in either Progress 4GL, Bash Shell Scripts, or the C programming language was done on the Turbo Linux platform.

Assisted in the migration of corporate intranet site content from TeamFusion to Collage, an XML/Java based content management system. Migration project involved the development, enhancement, and maintenance of content on the intranet sites. Developed new content using HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CollageScript. Other responsibilities also included troubleshooting of Collage CMS itself whenever problems arose by working with other team members, system administrators, and Collage technical Support.

Designed and implemented website using ASP, VBScript, JavaScript and HTML. Developed content management system, used to add and update the sites content. Stress user-friendly design, emphasizing ease of navigation, quick download time, and appealing graphics.
