Key Result Areas  Establish, maintain and manage relationships of customers with Forex exposures. Keeping the clients upbeat on the Forex market movements by giving qualified advice to create and increase loyal core customer base.  Develop target segments geographically and industry specific for marketing various FX products (Trade Flows & Derivatives) Prepare and follow marketing plan for trade seminars, corporate training and customer meetings to increase and deepen the penetration in various target segments. Liaise with internal departments and business channels for tapping new clients for Fx products. Meet existing as well as target clients on an on-going basis and adhering to sales processes from lead generation to closing of deal. Understand the client business cycle and risk appetite to suggest various hedging products to deepen the wallet share of the bank. Tap maximum potential from existing customers by cross selling FCY loans and suggesting related hedge through swaps and/or options, thereby reducing overall cost of capital for the client. Maintain, analyze and share the client wise product penetration, Trade/ Non-Trade volume and profit MIS. Conclude the FX deals related to trade flows or derivatives with clients on phone and maintain Dealing Discipline with customers / interbank. Keeping abreast on all regulations / internal guidelines and passing information to clients on changes in regulatory policies.  Contribute towards product development and process improvement.

 Tracking Global markets/events and providing views and analytics in the field of Forex. Managing clients’ forex exposures and providing them MIS for tracking their mark to market. Arranging buyer’s credit and supplier’s credit for the clients at most competitive rates and co-coordinating and assuring smooth processing between clients’ bank and foreign bank. Advising clients for local bill discounting and for PCFC. Retaining the existing clients by maintaining close relation. Acquiring new clients by targeting SMEs and corporate houses in Gujarat and MP region. Increasing revenues by Cross selling of service offerings to existing clients.

 Preparing daily, weekly and monthly Forex market-update report. Maintaining strong relation with clients and advising them on the basis of fundament and technical research. Analyzing the market data to forecast the future trend. Managing clients’ forex exposures through timely booking forward or future contract. Preparing and pricing option strategies using the Bloomberg and/or IONPOT option pricing system based on the exposure details of clients. Target based marketing of our service offering.

Project Details Apart from learning regular operations involved in handling forex treasury, undertaken a project on the "Risk Measurement in Forex" consisting-- Traditional Risk measurement techniques- Value At Risk Method (Recommended by Basel-II norms)- Stress Testing by Monte Carlo SimulationApplied these methods to Suzlon's exposures in Forex Portfolio
