As the Senior Consultant - Media and Communications, I have played a key role in developing a 360-degree Communication Strategy for Digital India including planning and execution of multi-platform campaigns to generate awareness about Digital India Programme. Additionally, I have worked with multiple agencies on big ticket initiatives - agency selection to strategizing and execution, end to end supervision (conceptualization, planning, production & post production) of Audio Visual & Print content on Digital India and evaluation of work submitted by agencies for Digital India - Films, TV Ads, Radio Ads, Print Ads, Digital Literacy Modular Videos, Digital India Testimonials, Posters, e-Books & Books etc.I am also responsible for planning, organization, and logistics for various events, workshops/conferences related to Digital India, development and implementation of advertising and promotional plans, support association initiatives and maintaining professional relations with existing clients and Act as a SPOC for the delivery of existing/new assignments.I utilize consultative selling and negotiation skills to build relation with PAN India clientele and visiting different regions of the country for making presentations to increase awareness among the target group about Digital India program.I work with Minister's Office to build business plans and targets for the partner agencies and departments and ensure teams and budgets are in place and they function effectively.

At NDTV's Mumbai Bureau, I was responsible for running operations, establishing production processes at the Mumbai Bureau for all 3 channels namely, NDTV 24x7, NDTV India and NDTV Profit and taking key decisions especially in the absence of Bureau Head Producer. Successfully identified problem areas to guide reporters, anchors and editors to maintain highest production standards and quality control for daily news bulletins.Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating with marketing executives to ensure efficient execution of big marketing deals for various shows. Programmes such as “Beyond Business”, “Boss’s Day Out”, “Big Fish” as well as corporate events such as “Business India’s Businessman of the Year 2005”, “Business Standard Awards” were my brain-child.

I used to mentor new-recruits, interns and existing teams to enhance their skill set for overall improvement in their performance standards in both news and programming shows. I have successfully identified problem areas to guide reporters, anchors and editors to maintain highest production standards and quality control for daily news bulletins.

As Channel Producer, I was in-charge of daily news programming on NDTV’s pioneer English news channel. I was responsible for managing all facets of production including ensuring premier broadcast quality and proper execution of all shows aired on channel. It was also my responsibility to mentor new-recruits, interns and existing teams to enhance their skill set for overall improvement in their performance standards in both news and programming shows.
